Peter Dawson

Peter is a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney and European Trade Mark and Design Attorney with over 5 years experience in the field.

Peter advises on a wide range of brand protection and management issues ranging from clearance searches to filing strategies, coordinating filing programs internationally, prosecuting applications at the UK and EU registry and dealing with any accompanying contentious registry disputes, negotiating and drafting undertakings and co-existence agreements, watching services, customs applications, and domain name complaints.

Peter obtained Distinctions on both the Certificate in Trade Mark Law and Practice at Queen Mary, University of London and the Professional Certificate in Trade Mark Practice at Nottingham Trent University.

Prior to joining Wiggin, Peter started his career at a leading firm of trade mark attorneys before joining an international law firm.
