Hello! Here we are, in the week that Malian Mamoudou Gassama performed the spectacular and heroic rescue of a child hanging from a fourth floor balcony in Paris, UN Peacekeepers celebrate their 70^th anniversary, Starbucks closes 8,000 stores in the US for a day to train staff to avoid unconscious racial bias, and the world’s oldest man hasn’t yet decided whether he needs to stop smoking home grown tobacco in tightly rolled pieces of newspaper. Somehow, the world seems more hopeful this week, and we haven’t even mentioned GDPR. Oh. Whoops. Our bad. Here we go then…
