Niche media and technology law firm Wiggin has been shortlisted for two categories in the Legal Business Awards: Boutique of the Year and Legal Innovator of the Year. Both categories were launched this year, and recognise a creative and innovative approach to providing legal services, as well as the use of technology and new business models. Wiggin’s CEO John Banister commented: “We are delighted to make the shortlist in these two categories. Our last financial year has yielded some excellent results, which confirm that our strategy to remain a niche firm, focused on our media, technology and creative industries’ clients, responds to what our market expects and needs. “We are also very pleased to have been able to launch additional services which complement our legal expertise in the past couple of years. Incopro, which was launched in 2012, specialises in content protection and has grown to a team of 20-strong experts in this short period of time. “Keeping close to our clients and the world they operate in allows us to be innovative and nimble to meet and create demand.” The winners will be announced at a ceremony held on 24 March in the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
