Specialist media and technology law firm Wiggin has been shortlisted in three categories of the 2015 FT Innovative Lawyers Awards.

Celebrating their 10th year of publication, the FT Innovative Lawyers Awards are one of the top legal rankings in Europe, and the accompanying awards are widely regarded as the best researched in the industry.

Wiggin’s CEO John Banister commented: “We are delighted to make the shortlist, and I would like to personally congratulate Simon Baggs for being shortlisted as well. Our ethos has always been one of agility and innovation, and it is a great recognition for us to be shortlisted for such prestigious awards, which recognise pioneering law firms.”

“We have had an incredible journey as a firm and in the past couple of years we have launched successful additional lines of services which complement our legal expertise. Incopro, which we launched in 2012 and specialises in content protection, has grown to a team of 25-strong experts in this short period of time, and its technology has been key to securing a landmark case win for one of our most influential clients.”

Wiggin was named Legal Business Boutique Law Firm of the Year in 2015, and also won the Managing IP Award in the United Kingdom Copyright Category.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on 1st October at the Natural History Museum.
