Corporate lawyers at Media, Technology and IP firm Wiggin have advised ad-tech company Adazzle on its acquisition by American media and cable company Comcast.

Adazzle is headquartered in London and provides an online campaign management platform and trading tools for media buying agencies. As part of its acquisition by Comcast, Adazzle will be integrated within Comcast’s existing advertising group, and its products and services will continue to be developed, supported and sold as part of the Comcast portfolio.

Philip Shaw, Adazzle Non Executive Director and Chairman, commented: “Ben, Jason and the rest of the Wiggin team did a fantastic job on the deal and were a real pleasure to work with. They quickly got to grips with the company’s technology offering and were invaluable in plotting a way through the deal issues that came up, including the difficult task of balancing the various interests of our diverse shareholder base. Their commitment and dedication to the deal at all times was hugely appreciated. I couldn’t recommend them too highly.”

Corporate Partner Ben Whitelock led the team who advised Adazzle on its acquisition assisted by associate Jason Fisher. Ben advises media and technology companies across all aspects of their corporate legal requirements, including private and public M&A transactions, joint ventures, fundraisings and re-organisations.
