Media, Technology and IP law firm Wiggin is delighted to announce the appointment of Stephen Ketteley and David McLeish as new Partners in its Betting & Gaming practice.

Stephen Ketteley is joining Wiggin from DLA Piper, where he is a Partner and Head of the Gambling practice. Stephen has been pre-eminent in the field of betting & gaming for almost a decade. He is an expert in all areas of remote gambling law and advises some of the key players in the industry. He will bring with him Associate Chris Elliott, who will be a valued member of the expanded team.

David McLeish is joining the firm from Playtech, the FTSE-250 group and largest provider of software and services to the gambling industry, where he is General Counsel and Group Head of Legal. David brings a wealth of experience on M&A and commercial matters. Before joining Playtech, he was a corporate finance partner at Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP and will play an important role in the continued growth of Wiggin’s well respected corporate team.

Stephen’s appointment will take effect from 1 January 2016, when he will co-head the practice with Jason Chess. Chris will join on 19 January 2016, followed by David on 1 February 2016.
