BEREC says that it will be taking a deeper look at the 5G Value Chain, with the aim of publishing a report on the topic by the end of 2022. The objective of the report will be to provide a high-level understanding of the 5G Value Chain addressing the following aspects:

• 5G Ecosystem: key partners in the supply chain and key partners on the demand side;
• 5G Value Propositions: to the various 5G verticals and wider society, including the value proposition that new entrants will bring to 5G verticals and to key players on the supply side;
• cost structures and revenue streams: 5G is expected to bring about new partnerships and new B2B and B2C relationships.

As a first step in the process, BEREC has launched a call inviting all interested stakeholders to provide input on a set of questions on the 5G Value Chain. The call for input closes on 4 February 2022. For further information, click here.
