LONDON – Media, Technology and Brands/IP law firm Wiggin has won Modern Law’s Best Use of Technology Award at a ceremony held in London on Thursday 10th November.
Now in their fourth year, the Modern Law Awards were launched to celebrate and identify talent and success in entrepreneurship, market development, business management and best practice in the modern legal services arena. Wiggin won the award for its work with INCOPRO on online IP infringement, and in particular their collaboration for luxury brand Richemont.
This is the fourth award for Wiggin’s IP team in the past two years. Earlier this year, the team won the Legal Week Innovation Future of Legal Services Award. In 2015, the team won Managing IP’s UK category for copyright at the Managing IP Awards, and Most Innovative Law Firm in Intellectual Property Law at the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Awards. Wiggin IP Partner and co-founder of INCOPRO Simon Baggs was also identified by the FT as one of the top ten Legal Innovators of the Year.
