Media law firm Wiggin has advised international independent TV production company Znak & Jones on an investment deal and distribution partnership with satellite broadcasting giant Sky.
The deal sees Sky take a minority stake in Znak & Jones, which was launched earlier this year by Natalka Znak (“Hell’s Kitchen”) and Simon Jones (“American Idol”). Znak & Jones will operate as a distinct company producing programs directly for channels in the US and UK, and all finished programming will be distributed by Sky’s international distribution business, Sky Vision.
