News Wiggin advises Lightbox on Channel 4 investment deal

Media law firm Wiggin has advised multi-platform media company Lightbox on a minority stake investment deal with publicly-owned broadcaster Channel 4.

Lightbox was founded by Emmy-winning producer Jonathan Chinn and Oscar-winning producer Simon Chinn, who co-produced the critically-acclaimed documentaries ‘Searching for Sugar Man’ and ‘Man on Wire’.  Lightbox is one of the first TV production companies to receive an investment from the broadcaster’s £20-million fund that aims to help the growth of small and medium-sized independent producers.

Wiggin’s Corporate Partner Michael Brader led the team who advised Lightbox on this investment deal.
