With more than 15 years’ experience of competition law and sectoral regulation in both private practice and public sector environments, clients rely on Collette for her pragmatic and business-focused advice on competition, compliance and EU regulatory matters and her ability to find commercial solutions to complex and frequently novel legal issues.

An experienced barrister, Collette is the Head of Wiggin’s EU competition practice. Her practice encompasses the full range of UK and European competition law. She is particularly known for her work on cases concerning the intersection of intellectual property rights and competition law.

“Developing a deep understanding of a client’s businesses, the markets in which they operate, and their commercial objectives is key to any competition analysis. Working closely with clients in the media and technology sectors for more than a decade gives me an edge. I can give targeted advice and bespoke practical solutions individually tailored to my clients’ needs, empowering them to make informed commercial decisions with a clear understanding of the risks and opportunities.

My sector specific knowledge makes it easier to put things in context when I am engaging with competition authorities and regulators and when I represent clients in litigation before the domestic and EU courts.”

Collette has been recognized by Global Competition Review as one of the leading “100 Women in Antitrust”. She has Acritas Star™ for competition law and compliance.
