Olivia is lawyer in the Intellectual Property group. She advises clients on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters covering copyright, trade mark, designs, patents and passing off. Olivia’s contentious experience includes acting in litigation before the High Court, Intellectual Property Enterprise Court and Supreme Court, as well as in contested registry proceedings before the UKIPO and EUIPO. She has a particular specialism in online rights protection and enforcement.
Highlights including representing Richemont (owners of brands Cartier, Montblanc and IWC) in a landmark case before the Supreme Court concerning website blocking in the context of trade mark infringement. Olivia also represented Easy Fly Express Ltd in a dispute against Easygroup focused on jurisdiction and targeting, a case which won Impact Case of the Year.
Olivia holds a Merit in the Oxford University Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice. She is a member of the AIPPI and IPSoc and has contributed to a number of publications including Entertainment Law Review and Intellectual Property Magazine.
