LONDON – Media, technology and IP law firm Wiggin has advised leading digital sports rights group Perform on the launch of DAZN, its new live sports streaming service in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Japan.

DAZN provides subscribers with unlimited access to watch a wide array of live and on demand sports available across an extensive range of connected devices for one monthly price.

Subscribers to the Japanese service can access an unparalled range of premium international sports content including Bundesliga, Serie A, FA Cup, UEFA and CONMEBOL Internationals, MLB, NBA, NFL, , PGA Tour Live Golf, as well as F1®, UFC, Tennis, Boxing, Rugby, Darts and domestic sports from J League, V League volleyball and Top League Rugby.

German subscribers can access over 8000 live events including every goal from every game from the Bundesliga, EPL, La Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1 as well as extensive access to NBA, NFL, UFC, Tennis, Boxing, Rugby, Bundesliga Handball and Darts.

The service was first launched in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on 10th August, followed shortly by a launch in Japan on 23rd August.

Content acquisition and distribution Partner Ross Sylvester led the team who advised Perform. He was assisted by associate Sarah Drake.
