The Computer & Communications Industry Association has in particular been lobbying against proposed Articles 11 on the press publishers related right and 13 on the value gap. According to the CCIA Vice President and Head of office Christian Borggreen, the trilogue agreement represents “a lost opportunity to achieve a balanced and future-proof EU copyright reform. We fear the law could harm online innovation, scaleups, and restrict online freedoms in Europe.
