Ofcom has published a consultation on a proposed variation to talkSPORT’s national analogue radio licence.

talkSPORT is seeking to reduce its medium wave (AM) coverage across the UK, from 95.4% to 93%.

Ofcom explains that the station would continue to be available to listeners in the relevant areas through DAB digital radio, on television via the Freeview, Sky and Virgin Media platforms, and on the internet.

Ofcom is seeking views from interested parties by 13 November 2019. It says it will take all responses into account before reaching a final decision. To access the consultation, click here.
