Gráinne McKenna

Gráinne McKenna is a partner in the Film & TV Group with over twenty years experience in the film and television industries. She specialises in film and television production and exploitation, providing strategic business affairs and legal advice to her clients which include both major and ‘mini-major’ US film studios and a number of high profile US and UK television production companies and studios.

Prior to joining the partnership Gráinne was the Head of Legal and Business Affairs for WTTV, an NBCUniversal company, overseeing the company’s productions for Sky and the BBC. For 10 years prior to that she was Senior Vice President, Legal and Business Affairs at the UK’s leading film production company Working Title Films, working on projects such as the Bridget Jones and Nanny McPhee film franchises, Love Actually, Atonement, United 93, Green Zone and Tinker Tailor. She also supervised the launch and international roll-out of the musical Billy Elliot, which has now been seen by over 10 million people across five continents.

Since joining Wiggin Gráinne has advised on a wide range of film and television productions, including Darkest Hour, Phantom Thread, Hanna, the movie Downton Abbey and the upcoming TV series His Dark Materials.

Gráinne has a Masters degree in European Broadcasting Regulation and a French Maîtrise in European Law.
