Following adoption of the Digital Markets Act by the Council of the EU and the EU Parliament on 14 September 2022, the Act was published in the Official Journal on 12 October 2022.

The Act will come into force 20 days following publication in the Official Journal, i.e. 1 November 2022. It will become applicable on 2 May 2023. To access the text of the Act as published in the Official Journal, click here.
