The Gambling Commission, fairly regularly, provides guidance to the general public. Yesterday, the Commission published what they describe as ‘frequently asked questions from gambling consumers’, which derived from a number of topics that consumers regularly quiz the Commission about via its Contact Centre.
It is always worth operators reviewing such consumer-directed output from the Commission as it can provide welcome clarity around some of the more tricky areas that the industry continues to grapple with.
The latest guidance includes commentary around affordability, complaint processes, reverse withdrawals and self-exclusion. It is certainly worth digesting.
