Collette Rawnsley

Collette is the head of the competition group in Brussels and London. She is a recognised expert in competition law and was recently named in Global Competition Review’s top Women in Antitrust.

Collette, an experienced barrister, advises clients across a range of EU and UK competition law issues including merger control, cartels, abuse of dominance, state aid, and competition litigation. She also advises on dawn raid procedures, and conducts internal antitrust audits and self-assessments. Collette has also assisted clients with questions of general EU law and procedure.

Collette has significant experience in assisting high-profile clients to navigate antitrust and regulatory investigations and related litigation; representing clients in meetings and negotiations with various agencies and before the domestic and EU courts. Her experience encompasses some of the leading competition cases concerning the intersection of intellectual property rights and competition law. Collette has also been called to the Bar of Ireland and will continue to have rights of audience before the European Courts post-Brexit.

Collette has previously worked for the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) which has given her a deep understanding of the UK competition law enforcement regime and sectoral regulation.
