Darren Stevenson

Legal Director

Darren has nearly 15 years of experience helping businesses and individuals with their immigration needs.

“I offer creative and practical advice across all areas of UK immigration law. I typically represent UK companies seeking to recruit overseas talent, but I work with individuals too. Clients most value my expertise in navigating difficult and technically complex areas such as sponsor licencing, immigration law after Brexit and British nationality law.

I spent six years working at the Home Office with what was the UK Border Agency before I moved to private practice. This experience allows me to offer a unique and useful perspective to clients. I have played a key role in lobbying efforts to secure changes to the skilled worker immigration route.

I’m proud to have achieved several verdicts which have had a UK-wide impact on immigration law and policy.”

Darren sits part-time as a Judge of the First-Tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) and is a Legal Member of the Parole Board for Scotland. He recently collaborated with Seafish on its Skilled Worker Visa Guide which helps employers navigate the application process to employ non-UK workers.

Darren Stevenson is outstanding - as well as being great at problem solving, he knows the law inside out
