In this week’s edition of Techtastic, the stories are pretty much all about surveillance of one kind or another and follow hot-on-the-heels of last week’s coverage of HM Government’s decision to boost the UK’s cyber-security spending by £1.9 billion and the anti-camera-drone pumpkin canon. Let’s just hope Chancellor Phillip Hammond isn’t planning to blow the whole of the nation’s cyber-security budget on squash-firing anti-aircraft technology and the squillions of pumpkins we’d need to take out all those naughty hackers.
