The Government is consulting on proposals to reform the administration of the Horserace Betting Levy using a Legislative Reform Order, which will result in the closure of the Horserace Betting Levy Board and the transfer of the Board’s functions to other bodies.  Under the proposals, the responsibility for collection and enforcement of the levy would be transferred to the Gambling Commission.
