A new version of the Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice will come into effect from 4th April 2018.

The current Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice (LCCP) came into effect on 6 April last year and included the conditions and codes for the remote host operating licences which were introduced following the 2016 fees consultation.

The updated version will include changes relating to society lotteries and information requirements which were consulted on during 2017, as well as some minor clarification of the application of some of the Gambling Commissions requirements.

You can find a summary of the new changes here.

The changes will introduce the new requirement to report a key event to the Commission where there has been a sustained/meaningful generation of revenue derived from a jurisdiction (by any entity within the licensee’s group) which exceeds 3% of the group’s total revenue (or 10% of the group’s total revenue where the group’s total revenue is less than £5m). This requirement was consulted on last year, which you can read about here.
