Litigation, with particular emphasis on all aspects of media litigation including copyright, trade mark and contractual disputes, libel and confidence. Particular expertise in the field of rights protection on behalf of companies and individuals in the music, film, broadcasting, sports and publishing industries.
Simon has a widely acknowledged reputation as a strong litigator with a passion for the protection of rights. He is known for his commercial advice and proactive approach. He has developed lasting relationships with key clients, many of whom he counts as friends. He lives with his family in Cheltenham and works mainly from the firm's London office. Simon has handled a whole variety of media cases ranging from arguments over novel points of law in the High Court and Court of Appeal to the representation of well known sportsmen in disciplinary tribunals.
