LONDON – Media, Technology and Brands/IP law firm Wiggin has won the Legal Week Innovation, Future of Legal Services Award at a ceremony held on Friday 27 May in London.

The Future of Legal Services Award seeks to uncover innovation in the delivery of legal services. Wiggin won the award for creating INCOPRO, an innovative technology company that enables brand owning businesses to track misuse of their IP online and to enforce against these infringements using Incopro’s technology.  INCOPRO has grown significantly since incorporation in 2012.  The business provides brand protection services to some of the world’s largest global brands.

This is the third award scooped up by Wiggin’s IP team in the past 12 months.  The team won Managing IP’s UK category for copyright at the 2015 Managing IP Awards, and the award for Most Innovative Law Firm in Intellectual Property Law at the 2015 Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Awards. Wiggin IP Partner and co-founder of INCOPRO Simon Baggs was also identified by the FT as one of the top ten Legal Innovators of the Year.  The team is also shortlisted by The Lawyer in the Intellectual Property Team of the Year category.
