LONDON – Media, Technology and Brands/IP law firm Wiggin has won the award for UK Trade Mark Firm of the Year (litigation) at the Managing Intellectual Property Global Awards.  The team from Wiggin were at the Savoy on 9 March to collect the award.

Now in its 12th year, the Managing IP Global Awards is firmly established in the IP calendar and acknowledges outstanding achievements in the past 12 months.  Led by head of IP, Simon Baggs, the team was recognised for its work in winning the Cartier case in both the High Court and Court of Appeal.

Simon Baggs commented:

“To be recognised for the cutting edge IP work we are doing is so great. We have a fantastic team and they deserve this award.”

This is the third award that has recognised Wiggin’s IP team in the past 12 months. Previous wins include Modern Law’s Best Use of Technology of Award for our work with INCOPRO on online IP infringement and the Legal Week Innovation Future of Legal Services Award, recognised for the creation of Incopro. Wiggin also won the prestigious FT Innovative Lawyers award for Most Innovative Law Firm in IP in 2015.
